Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number and message, so we can answer you.
• Admissions and enrollment: the information a parent or guardian enters in an application (for example, parent and student names, contact details, grade, birth date, previous school and the documents you choose to upload), used only to process the application and enroll the student.
• Tutoring requests: the parent’s contact details, the student’s name and grade, and any homework or files you choose to upload, used to schedule and give the tutoring session.
• Job applications: the information and résumé you send, used only to evaluate your application.
• Website assistant: if you use the chat assistant on the website, your question is sent to our artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic) only to generate the answer. Please do not type sensitive personal information in it. The assistant is not available inside the mobile app.

Information collected automatically

• Website: we count visits with an anonymous daily code that cannot be turned back into your IP address. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics.
• Mobile app: the app does not require an account. If you allow notifications, the app sends us a push-notification token and your language so we can send school notices; Apple or Google deliver those notices. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings. The camera, microphone and photo library are used only when you choose to take or upload a photo or file, or join an online tutoring session.

How we use and share information

We use information only to run the school and its services: answering questions, admissions, enrollment, tutoring, hiring and sending school notices. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that work for us under confidentiality (our web hosting and email provider, Apple and Google for notifications, and Anthropic for the website assistant), or when the law requires it.

Children’s privacy

Student information is provided by parents, guardians or school staff. The website and app are intended for parents, guardians and staff; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

The website and app use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to school records is limited to authorized staff. We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law for school records.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or the information of a student you are the parent or guardian of, by writing to registrations@mcstampa.org or calling 813-964-8503. Records the school must legally keep may be retained as required.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
